The Role

We are looking for a Data Analyst to turn Mighty's marketplace data into clear, actionable insight. Tens of thousands of small businesses, hundreds of partner brands, and millions of transactions create a rich data environment — and we need someone who can navigate it, ask the right questions, and help leadership, product, and operations make better decisions faster.

This is a hands-on role for someone equally comfortable digging into SQL, designing dashboards, and presenting findings to non-technical stakeholders. You'll partner with teams across the company to shape how Mighty measures what matters.

What You'll Do (Responsibilities)

Reporting & Insights

•       Build, maintain, and evolve dashboards that surface key business metrics for product, marketing, partnerships, and leadership.

•       Translate ambiguous business questions into clear analyses with well-supported recommendations.

•       Conduct deep-dive analyses to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities across the marketplace.

•       Present findings in a way that drives action — not just reports.

Data Quality & Infrastructure

•       Partner with engineering to define and improve data models, event tracking, and reporting infrastructure.

•       Establish and uphold standards for data quality, definitions, and metric consistency.

•       Document data sources, transformations, and definitions so insights are reproducible and trustworthy.

Experimentation & Measurement

•       Design A/B tests and measurement frameworks for new product features and marketing initiatives.

•       Define success metrics, monitor performance, and communicate results clearly.

•       Help the team build a culture of testing, learning, and iterating based on evidence.

Stakeholder Partnership

•       Act as a trusted analytical partner to product, marketing, partnerships, and operations.

•       Translate complex data into clear narratives for technical and non-technical audiences.

•       Anticipate what stakeholders need before they ask — and proactively surface insights.

What We're Looking For (Qualifications)

Required

•       4+ years of experience in a data analyst, business intelligence, or analytics engineering role.

•       StrongSQL skills — comfortable writing complex queries, optimizing performance, andworking with large datasets.

•       Experience with at least one modern BI or visualization tool (Looker, Tableau, Power BI, Metabase, etc.).

•       Demonstrated ability to translate ambiguous business questions into structured analyses.

•       Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

•       Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.

Preferred

•       Experience with Python or R for analysis, modeling, or automation.

•       Familiarity with dbt, Airflow, or modern analytics engineering workflows.

•       Background in marketplace, B2B2C, SaaS, or membership-based products.

•       Exposure to AI/ML-enabled analytics or LLM-assisted analysis workflows.

•       Experience designing A/B tests and interpreting experiment results.
