The Role
We are looking for a Content Strategist to own how Mighty shows up in writing — across product, marketing, and member-facing surfaces.You will shape editorial direction, define our voice, and build the content systems that help small business owners understand the value Mighty brings.
This is a hands-on role. You will do the thinking and a lot of the writing. You will partner closely with product, marketing, and leadership to make sure every word reflects who Mighty is and serves the audience well.
What You'll Do (Responsibilities)
Editorial Strategy
- Define and evolve Mighty's content strategy across blog, email, social, product, and member-facing channels.
- Develop editorial calendars aligned with business goals, product launches, and member needs.
- Establish content frameworks, voice and tone guidelines, and editorial standards.
Content Production
- Write and edit core content — blog posts, emails, landing pages, in-product copy, and more.
- Partner with subject matter experts to translate technical or partner-driven topicsinto clear, useful content.
- Manage external writers and contributors as needed.
Voice & Brand
- Steward Mighty's brand voice across every written surface, ensuring consistency without rigidity.
- Partner with design and product to bring voice into the product experience.
- Coach teammates on tone, clarity, and audience awareness.
Measurement & Iteration
• Define what success looks like for content (engagement, conversion, retention, etc.) and measure against it.
• Use data and member feedback to evolve what and how Mighty publishes.
• Continuously refine content based on what is working.
What We're Looking For (Qualifications)
Required
• 4+ years of experience in content strategy, editorial, content marketing, orcommunications.
• Outstanding writing and editing skills with a portfolio that demonstrates range acrossformats.
• Experience defining brand voice and applying it across channels.
• Comfort owning content end-to-end — strategy through publication.
• Strong project management instincts; able to juggle multiple deadlines without thingsslipping.
Preferred
• Experience writing for small business owners, independent operators, or prosumer audiences.
• Background in B2B2C, marketplace, SaaS, or membership-based products.
• Familiarity with SEO best practices, content analytics, and modern CMS platforms.
• Exposure to AI-assisted content workflows (LLM-aided drafting, editorial assistants, content tooling).
