Garcia's Taqueria serves around 400 orders a day across two Phoenix locations, and nearly 70% of them leave in a bag. Containers, lids, bags, napkins, and utensils were costing the Garcias roughly $2,100 a month — ordered from nine different suppliers, each with its own minimums, delivery windows, and price changes that arrived without warning.
"Every month it was a different number," Elena says in the video. "We weren't negotiating — we were just accepting." When a fellow restaurant owner mentioned Mighty at a local business mixer, Tom signed up mostly to prove it wouldn't work.
Through Mighty's negotiated Amazon Business pricing, the Garcias consolidated all nine supply relationships into a single weekly order. The same containers they'd been buying — same brand, same sizes — came in 38% cheaper at member pricing, with next-day delivery replacing the guessing game of nine separate delivery windows.
The savings went somewhere specific: a second prep cook and a part-time cashier for the new East Phoenix location. "That's the part people miss," Elena says. "It's not about the containers. It's about what the containers were costing us the chance to do."
